Carroll County brought back the 'Fair' to the area in September of 2005 after an absence of approximately 40 years.
The 2005 Fair was called the "Carroll County Expo" and it proved to be a success thanks to the hard work of many individuals!
In 2006 the name was changed from Carroll County Expo to the "Carroll County Fair". The 2006 Fair was a sucess and enjoyed by all who attended!
A restructuring of the Fair committee began in late 2006 and a Fair Commission was formed for the 2007 Fair. The name of the Fair was changed once again to the "Carroll County Agricultural Fair".
The 2005, 2006, and 2007 Fair took place at the
Hillsville Grover King VFW Post 1115 located at 701 West Stuart Drive in Hillsville, Virginia.
